1 (28-ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes with their juices
1/2 small red or white onion coarsely chopped
2 jalapeños seeds removed, and coarsely chopped (can substitute with a small can of diced chilis)
2 tsp garlic
1 cup fresh cilantro loosely packed
1 teaspoon cumin
salt or pepper to taste
One lime wedge
Directions: Put all ingredients (except the lime) into a blender and pulse until well combined. Pour into a bowl and squeeze lime onto. Serve with corn tortilla chips or on top of your favorite dish.
