Does anyone else yawn when you hear the word “oatmeal”? Oatmeal might not have the most exciting connotation in the culinary world but this breakfast underdog can be jazzed up in more ways than a broadway musical. Overnight oats are my go-to recipe during busy weeks and early mornings. This recipe is just five ingredients and takes less than five minutes to make. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Ingredients:
- 3/4th cup of dairy free milk
- 1 tbsp. honey or agave
- 1tbsp. peanutbutter
- 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 3/4th cup of oats
- 1 tbsp. of chia seed
Directions:
Mix the first three ingredients together and in a separate bowl mix the last three together. Slowly pour and stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Pour the mixture into bowls or jars and cover tightly with a lid or wrap. Store them in the fridge for at least 3 hours and up to 4 days.
