My family knows that I am guilty of constantly sneaking vegetables into anything I make. My go-to’s have always been an extra large handful of spinach or half of a cucumber blended into my usual smoothie; however, I recently read a recipe that amped up this veggie-smoothie fiesta even more! What was the secret ingredient you ask? Drum roll… it rhymes with -aliflower… that’s right cauliflower.
- 1/2 Cup frozen cauliflower
- 1 Cup spinach or kale
- 1 Cup almond or oat milk
- 1 Tbsp protein powder of choice
- 1 Tbsp cacao powder
- Optional: 1/2 banana, frozen blueberries, scoop of peanut butter
Combine all ingredients into a blender or nutri-bullet and blend on high until smooth.
